Roman Legionnaires Gladius Sword Pendant

A bronze Roman legionnaires gladius sword pendant from 2nd-3rd century A.D. These amulets were worn by Roman legionaries for good luck and protection as they were often associated with the god Mars. Roman legionnaires were issued these for showing great valor in battle similar to medals won by modern soldiers.
