Turquoise blue faience Sekhmet statue with detailed sundisk, uraeus, and a papyrus scepter - the symbol of Lower Egypt. It is extremely rare to find a statue in this condition with clearly defined mane strands, finger and toe carvings, and gorgeous scepter.
Sekhmet's name translates to "She who is powerful" and was the ancient Egyptian goddess of war and healing. Additionally, legend has that she was created from the fire of sun god Ra's eyes as a weapon destroy humans who violated Maat (or justice). Due to both her destructive and healing qualities, ancient Egyptians often left offerings and venerated Sekhmet to stay on her good side.
