Iron-Red & Gold Decorated Republic Period Bowl

A hand-painted Chinese porcelain Republic Period bowl decorated with the Eight Buddhist Emblems, bajixiang (wheel of law, lotus, canopy, fan, parasol, lidded jar, twinned fish, and endless knot) in iron-red above a stylized lotus scroll. The bowl has turquoise interiors and is marked with a Qianlong underglaze red six-character seal mark on the base.
